The Rheem-Ruud 61-102213-06 3Ton Thermal Expansion Valve is a essentialcomponent in the HVAC systems and is mostly used on air condition systems and heat pumps. The 30” capillary tube and 1. 7” equalizer tube length of this expansion valve is also capable of controlling the flow of R-410A refrigerant. It regulates the amount of coolant that is allowed into the coil that cools the air and it is a thermal expansion valve through which coolant and heat are allowed to expand for cooling and heat transfer respectively. This valve improves the system performance with a sweat-type inlet and outlet connection and a 3/8” external equalizer.
