The Carrier 50SS400341 is a Heater Element, a replacement part in the HVAC system. This single-phase element has a voltage of 208V-230V and is compatible with a 50/60 Hz electrical supply. The heating element turns electrical energy into heat and adds to the total heating capability of the Carrier furnace or air handler. A faulty heat element can cause little to no heat to be produced in the home, leaving cold in the home. This replaces a worn-out element to make the heating system work efficiently and provides comfort during cold winter periods.
