Description
The Copeland Comfort Control (White Rodgers) 47D01U-843 Universal Stage Heat Pump Defrost Control is used for HVAC systems. It controls the defrost cycle of heat pumps in a way to avoid ice formation on the outdoor coil during heating mode. It uses time and temperature to trigger defrost, and it operates optimally only when required to do so. It ensures little ice production protecting the Heat Pump thereby increasing the general heating efficiency and decreasing the energy used. This leads to a better comfort regime, reduced energy costs and longer life of the equipment.
