Description
The Lennox 47K14 Time Delay Relay is an essential component for Lennox HVAC systems. This small device works as a timer and controls the electrical supply in your system so that it does not short cycle. The relay also includes a 5-minute delay after the thermostat switches off the system to avoid the repeated operation of the furnace or air conditioner. This in turn enables some of the components to cool and therefore minimize wear and tear and perhaps increase efficiency. By eliminating short cycling, the time delay relay plays a critical part in the longevity of your Lennox HVAC system.
