The Lennox 45M47 Ignition Transformer is a critical component of oil-fired HVAC equipment, It plays a huge part in the ignition process because of the way the input voltage is raised to a much higher level. Such high voltage discharges an electrical spark across the igniter electrode that combusts the fuel for continual and optimum heating. The Lennox 45M47 ignition transformer is designed for operating within a temperature range of -40°F to 150°F and ensures proper functioning in different conditions. It uses a normal 120 VAC power supply and is suitable for use in either 50Hz or 60Hz frequency.
