Description
The Rheem-Ruud 42-21279-02 Sequencing Relay is an essential part in the HVAC devices that determines the time schedule for the heating components. Thus, this 2-pole relay has the DPST contact configuration that makes it possible to ensure the proper electrical load sequencing in electric furnaces and heat pumps. It controls the increased operation of heating elements at 24 VAC preventing overloading of circuits with energy while ensuring fair utilization. This small and strong relay is perfect so it can be used as part of Rheem and Ruud HVAC systems. It is energy efficient since there is no internal heater which uses electricity to warm the house.
