Description
The Sporlan Controls 168190 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essential fitting used to control refrigerant flow to help HVAC systems work at maximum capacity. It comes with 3/8” X 1/2” SAE connections and is in the TEV-BQ use in air conditioning and refrigeration applications. This TXV control the amount of refrigerant flow depending on the load of the evaporator while also regulating superheat to avoid compressor burnout. It is applied in residential, commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, it increases system efficiency, decreases energy usage, and stabilizes temperature.
