Description
The 35-605601-007 Fenwal digital translator facilitates the transmission of setpoint information from thermostats and similar controllers to compatible HVAC equipment. It serves as an intermediary, allowing for seamless communication between devices that operate on different protocols: thermostats communicate in a digital language, while certain HVAC equipment is designed to interpret analog signals. The module effectively bridges this gap, ensuring unambiguous communication within the system. Operating at 24 volts, the 35-605601-007 boasts a 15-second time-to-fire (TFI), meaning it takes 15 seconds for connected equipment to respond to changes in the setpoint. This feature enhances the responsiveness of the system, facilitating timely adjustments as needed. The 35-605601-007 module finds widespread application in various HVAC systems, including rooftop units, air handling units, and chillers.
