The Conbraco Industries 27-402-01 Steam Gauge Siphon Loop is a unique part that is used to safeguard the pressure gauges in the steam system and HVAC systems. The siphon loop of this product includes a 90° angle and a 1/4” MNPT connection to ensure proper connection to different HVAC equipment. It works by forming a water seal in its loop, which is formed when the steam condenses protecting the gauge from direct exposure to high temperatures. This mechanism not only protects the delicate gauge components from heat but also guarantees correct pressure measurement since only cold liquid can get to the gauge. The siphon loop increases the durability and stability of pressure measurement parts with minimal maintenance requirements.
