Description
The Siemens 268-03055 is a stainless steel normally open two way valve assemblyand corrosion resistance. The 1/2″ diameter valve is designed for HVAC systems with Cv 1.60 and enabling efficient fluid handling. This valve has a 4″ stroke and is rated for ANSI Class 250 pressure which provides assured operation in demanding applications.This valve is a control element in HVAC systems controlling the flow of water and refrigerant. The spring determines the opening pressure of the valve, the pressure can be adjusted between 3 and 8 PSI. The valve opens when the system pressure exceeds the spring setting with liquid passing the pressure drops below the set threshold, the spring trims the valve to control the flow rate.
