Siemens 242-00232 is a three way zone valve which enables to control the rate of flow of water in HVAC systems and so it is an essentialcomponent to regulate temperature in most of the parts of a structure. It has two options open or closed. The valve opens when it’s electrified with a 24 volt DC. On turning off the electricity a spring returns the valve back to its closed position. With this on/off device, water flow to particular zones can be controlled precisely. In residential and commercial HVAC, hydronic heating and cooling applications this zone valve is widely used.
