Description
The Emerson Climate-White Rodgers 24A07G-1 Electric Heat Relay is a 240V electromechanical switching element that is used to turn on and off heating equipment in an HVAC systems. It controls when the thermostat demands heat, the relay closes its contacts permitting the flow of power to resistance heaters or heat strips. It is fitted in air handlers, furnaces or packaged units that are not enclosed and it connects with control circuitry to control high voltages. The system allows the electric heat to be started in response to demand.
